YOFCHAN promotes youth participation beyond primary agricultural production by supporting access to common-user value-addition infrastructure, technologies, and skills, including grain milling, vegetable handling and storage, cold-chain facilities, drying and processing, packaging, branding, quality improvement, and post-harvest management. Through these interventions, YOFCHAN enables young people to capture greater value from agricultural products, reduce post-harvest losses, develop competitive agribusinesses, and create additional employment opportunities across the agricultural food system.
